Little Monster

Monday was the start of our cold weather around here, so I made Taco Soup for dinner. It was delish and perfect for a cold night!! William decided to be a little monster at dinner and would growl, and then smile at me. He is just a mess!!

After his bath, Robbie settled in to read him "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". He was focused for about 2 seconds, and then started squirming to get down, or as he calls it, "dow, dowww". Hilarious!! Poor Robbie is still trying to read, through it all.

After his story, he heads to Riley's crate and starts trying to bring his chair into her crate. I don't know where in the world he gets his ideas!!  He was a busybody that night, that is for sure!!

Weekend Rewind {Oct. 26-28}

Friday: This must have been an uneventful day, since I have NO pictures. I know that I worked from home. We took William for the 2nd half of his flu shot that morning and he did not even cry!! I was shocked. He weighs 20 lbs 6 oz. We grabbed lunch after that and then went back home. That night, we had dinner at IHOP.

Saturday: I ran out early that morning by myself to Harris Teeter to get the milk Saturday special. I ended up picking up a few extra things (What else is new?!) I enjoyed some time by myself to look around and sip my Starbucks. Mama and I got ready and headed to Southpoint for lunch and some browsing. William shared my pizza with me and I was shocked he liked it since it was pear and gorgonzola. That night, we had Italian chicken in the crock pot. It is one of our faves and so easy!! Robbie and I cleaned the entire house. It was just a mess. Jobs and a sweet baby take priority.

Sunday: I thought William was up super early. When I looked at Robbie's clock, it said 7:31. WHAT?! He usually sleeps until 8 or 8:30. I decided I'd get William and bring him to our room for a few minutes of rest. Robbie reminded me that his clock is set to automatically do daylight savings time, and it is confused. So it really WAS 8:30. Whew. We went on downstairs and had breakfast and William played "choo-choo" forever. This is his new big "word". While he napped, Robbie and I finished up a couple last minute things around the house, including hanging William's 12 month pictures in his bathroom!! We grabbed lunch and then Shelley and Brandon were here! They were going to Charlotte on Monday for a wrestling event and stopped and stayed with us Sunday. They brought William a precious VHC cake from The Cupcakery in EC. He was very into opening his present, which was so funny!! That night, we went to Southpoint and Mama and Hannah kept William so we were child-less!!! We had a leisurely dinner at Firebirds, it was great! After dinner, we strolled around Southpoint some more and Target and then came on home and watched a movie until we all passed out!! We had such a good time!!! The next morning, we got up and got ready and grabbed some lunch before they hit the road to Charlotte!!

Weekend Rewind {Oct. 19-21}

Friday: William and I were on our own! Robbie worked a day shift and Mama was in Charlotte. Work wasn't too busy and it was fairly easy managing him and work. After his afternoon nap, he woke up on the wrong side of crib and was just fussy and whiny. So unlike him! Robbie was supposed to be home at 5 but was late. Things got a little hairy as I was finishing work for the day, fixing dinner, and managing a fussy boy! Ashley and Willie came for dinner again and we were excited! I made Pulled Pork Sandwiches. We have had them a lot, and they are so good and easy!! After dinner, we all went to the frozen yogurt place near our house.

Still happy at lunch!

William was wondering what took me so long to get out of the car! LOL

Helping take his shirt off before bed!

Saturday: Robbie closed so he was with us until the afternoon. After he left for work, William and I went over to Babies R Us and spent over an hour just looking around and picking out Jackson's baby gift!! We are all so excited to meet him!! :) When we got home, we played for a few minutes and then Sara and Noemie came over! We love playing with them!! William and Noemie get along great, and Sara and I get lots of catching up time!! ;) They made the Cozy Coupe a two-seater, which was hilarious!! They both wanted to climb the slide backwards and give us heart attacks. When they left, William and I went to dinner with Stephanie and her dad at the mexican restaurant. We had yogurt again and it was great as always. After that, it was bath time followed by night-night!!

Playing with Riley

Just pushing the cozy coupe around.

Don't you climb in your toy box after you dump all the toys out?!

So funny! William being a daredevil at the top of the slide, and me looking stressed in the background.

Sharing the cozy coupe!

Oh, you didn't know two people could fit?!

Yummm cookie!

Sunday: Robbie closed again, yuck. William decided he wasn't having the morning nap today, double yuck. After Robbie left, William was so exhausted that he went down for his afternoon nap early, and slept until 4:15!! I watched 2 scary movies and it was nice just relaxing while he slept! We left around 5 to head to Petsmart to get Riley's food. By then, Mama was home and we met her at her apartment and waited for Hannah. We all went to Jason's Deli for dinner and then Target! William had a gift card for his birthday, and we used it on Cinderella DVD, Chuggington DVD, and "The Little Engine That Could". We got home too late for a bath so he got into his Halloween pj's and passed OUT! I got sucked into a Lifetime movie and ended up staying up WAY too late!!!

Happy after a nap!

Why can't I lift this?!
