Memorial Day Cookout!

Y'all, I know I have mentioned before how much we just love our church! We started attending a Sunday school class (Providence calls them LIFE classes, but I just can't drop my old school mentality ha!) a few months ago, and have met SO many sweet, new friends!! We just love it so much.

So, we were super excited when an invite went out for a Memorial Day cookout at our teacher's home. They have a gorgeous house with a great backyard with plenty of shaded room and a playground for the kids. We had a ball and loved talking to more couples that we usually don't have time to talk to in an hour long class, haha. The kids all had SO much fun! William scraped his cheek coming down the slide, but he got right back up and kept playing! We had the funniest incident....someone stepped in dog doo and got it ALL over the steps, slide, fort of the play area, etc. Poor Meredith was up there with the kids, and started yelling down to the parents to check their kids for dog doo, and hosed off the area. It was such a mess haha!! We had a delicious meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese, various salads, and yummy desserts!! We are so fortunate to be a part of such a sweet and supportive group!
