This weekend, two good girlfriends of mine paired up with two other talented ladies for a Holiday Open House at Courtney's! Due to their success, they have started a joint Facebook page. Please go
like them! Courtney is so talented at painting and jewelry-making - Find her on FB at
The Painted Pearl. My BFF Ashley makes the most gorgeous hand painted signs - you would think they were done by a professional printer! SO crazy. She also sells scarves that are super cute! Her signs, scarves, and jewelry are always on sale at
Two Old Birds off Durant Road. Meredith was also there with her cute handmade jewelry. I have a cross necklace that I bought from her, and love it!!! And Beverly had the cutest stuff also (I'm not sure how I forgot to take pictures of their booths). She had the cutest flower pots that were painted as snowmen, and beautiful slate pieces with Bible verses on them. She had a lot of other things too! I love having talented friends! ;) I am about a -5 on the creative/talent scale, so it's nice to have some friends nearby who do such a great job on so many cute things!! Thank you to these ladies for putting on such an awesome open house!!

Meanwhile, Davis and William were entertaining themselves quite nicely! It was so nice to be able to shop around and talk, without worrying about what William was doing, haha! I knew he was in great hands on the other side of the wall with Phillip supervising. They played hard for almost two hours!!
My purchases! Thanks, girls, for all of the cute work!!!

So glad you all stopped by! We had fun visiting with all the shoppers! Thanks for supporting our small businesses! BTW- Phillip was slap worn out! He didn't realize the "Drop & Shop" meant the kids would be "dropped" off with him while the ladies shopped. He should have known better or escaped out of the house! :)
