This year, our Thanksgiving was a little different, but super fun!! We usually always go home and stay at the beach and have Thanksgiving lunch at the Lone Cedar. Which is ahhhhmazing! This year, Robbie worked on Thanksgiving for the first time ever, and we just wanted to stay in Raleigh. Our wonderful friends, Ashley and Willie, invited us to their house for Thanksgiving lunch. We were so excited! We always love being with them!! Ashley's mom and dad also joined, as well as Hannah and Mama.
That morning, William and I had a special breakfast of pumpkin spice donuts! They were awesome. This picture makes me laugh, because Riley is just praying he will drop a piece of donut, and he is looking at her like, yeah right! After breakfast, we watched the Macy's parade. William loved it and kept saying, "parade!" and naming all of the characters. I made mac and cheese to take with us, and we got to their house around 1:30!

Mama went straight to Claire when we got to Ashley's haha! We had a great time talking and laughing. Robbie got off right as we were sitting down to eat, so he actually got there in time to eat WITH us! Ashley's mama can really cook!! We had an awesome spread. Mama even made a pound cake for the occassion!! ;) William, Molly, and Claire all looked so cute in their smocked outfits- we just had to get a picture!!

THIS is what we are all most thankful for!!! |
After lunch, William and Robbie got their hair cut! William's hair was coming over his ears, it just grows so fast! Afterwards, he looked like a sweet baby again. He was excited for his cake/ice cream dessert after sitting so still!

Robbie and I have SO much to be thankful for this year, more than ever before, really. Special friends like Ashley and Willie are at the top of our list. We are so blessed to have them, and to be included in their family Thanksgiving, like we are family!!! <3
