Well, I am a little late, but I still want to blog about Christmas! Robbie's parents came here for Christmas, which was so nice! We didn't have to pack up EVERYthing. Santa was bringing too many large gifts to lug it all home.
Mama, Hannah, and I went to Cafe Carolina for lunch on Christmas Eve. We had to go to Fresh Market to get steaks for Christmas dinner, and this was right by it! We had a great lunch and then headed home to get the house straight for Christmas Day!

That night, I made a key lime pie for Christmas day. Hannah gave William one of his gifts from her early; a stuffed Thomas the train. He loved it and carried it all around!

So excited about Thomas! |
Robbie and I decided to start a new tradition this year. On Christmas Eve, William will open one book, a pair of pajamas, and a movie! This year, he opened "The Night Before Christmas", Santa pj's, and Santa Buddies. We quickly made cookies for Santa. They were a little rough looking, but hey, we got the experience!! Robbie's parents arrived around 8 and brought in a TON of gifts!! I could not believe how many kept coming! William buried himself in them and pretended like he was in a little fort. He was so tickled! After that, it was time for bed for a sweet little boy! Robbie read "The Night Before Christmas" to us and Hannah took pictures...but missed the wine glass on the table that the camera was focusing on. ;) William went right to sleep and Hannah and Mama left so that Robbie and I could get our Santa on! It didn't take us that long (thank goodness the kitchen was put together the week before) and we were in bed by 11!

Funny about the wine glass- that will be a funny memory. Our kids received way too many toys. I am running out of room. Miss Cafe Carolina so much especially those blue cupcakes. Yummy!
