Good Golly, Miss Molly!!

Our bff's Ashley and Willie have had an eventful November! On Friday, the 11th, Robbie and I were in target spending too much money as usual...when Ashley texted me that it was baby time and they were on their way to the hospital!!! I started screaming in target, I was so excited!

Finally, after a pretty long labor, I got a text from willie at 11:30 pm on Saturday night saying she was having a c-section! The next time I checked my phone, I had a couple pictures of this sweet girl who we joke will be william's bride!! She was born at 12:16 am on Sunday, November 13th and we all love her!!!

I could hardly wait to get to the hospital and see her!

Congrats to our sweet friends and we look forward to all the memories we will make together!!!

Something different

This is my first post from the blogger app on my phone!! I didn't even realize there was such a thing. Hopefully this will allow me to update more frequently and timely, especially since most of my pictures are on my phone these days!

William's First Halloween

William's Nana (my mom) ordered him this shirt online to wear to the pumpkin patch this year!!

Our neighbors were too sweet to give William this "My 1st Halloween" onesie!!

On October 30th, we went to the farmer's market for William to pick out a pumpkin! We wanted to go to a pumpkin patch, but i was getting cold out and we didn't see the point in spending the money on the admission when William couldn't do any of the fun stuff yet!

He slept through the fun, of course!

On Halloween, I took my little pumpkin to my work for trick or treating. We knew we weren't going to take him out that night, so we wanted him to get some use out of his outfit! They had a little party with candy and cupcakes, and everyone enjoyed seeing him.

1 Month Old!!

On October 22, William was one month old!! I can't even believe it! Seems like just yesterday he was in the hospital being born!!! WOW. Time truly flies. I bought these stickers off Etsy for months 1-12 that you stick to a onesie so I could see the changes each month!!

One month old!!! 10/22/11

 William, you are such a good baby!! You really only cry if you are hungry or really sleepy. People are constantly telling us how beautiful you are and what a good baby we have!! You had your first real bath this month and loved it!!

You eat every 4 hours...and pretty much do 4 hour stretches at night, too. We wish you would sleep a little longer, but we know it will eventually happen! You love your swing and your bassinet. You aren't quite sure of your bouncy seat or your play gym yet and you really don't like tummy time on your play gym.

You love your car seat once you are in it. Strapping you in can sometimes make you cry! But once you are in the car, you are fast asleep. You have been lots of places in your short month of life. The Mebane outlets, countless restaurants, Ashley & Willie's house, etc! You are always so well behaved and as long as we have your food, you are golden!

I love dressing you in all your little outfits and your daddy says I have a shopping addiction. I don't know what he is talking about, every little boy needs clothes ;) You are starting to fit in your 3months clothes, which is sad to me! We had lots of newborn clothes in the beginning, but your legs are starting to strain in those. You are still in your newborn diapers, but they are getting tight!!!

You hold your head up like a big boy!!! If we have you on our shoulder, you just sit up and look all around, holding that head up. So big!

We are having so much fun with you and we can't wait to watch you grow each and every day!!!

First Bath

When we got William home, he could only have a sponge bath until his belly button stump fell off. (See below). He did not like that at all! I think he just couldn't get warm.

On October 13th, his belly button thing finally fell off. I was so ready for it to fall off, not only for him to have a bath but I was always worried it was going to hurt him if his clothes rubbed it!

On October 14th, we gave him his first real bath in his tub!! He loved it! Bath time is one of his favorite times. He gets really quiet and still and just looks around, it is so funny!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

October 8th was Robbie's first birthday as a daddy, as well as being his big 3-0!!!! I wanted to have a special night for him, so we invited Mama, Hannah, Ashley and Willie to go to Winston's for dinner and I got a cake from our fave, Edible Art! We had a great time and William did great in his 1000th restaurant (just kidding!)

Coming Home

On Monday, September 26th, we were able to come home! I was feeling SO much better and was recovering pretty well I thought. The csection was not nearly as bad as I would have thought. I was a little stiff at first, but that was the only bad part. We were ready that morning and we finally got to leave that afternoon. Even though I was ready to come home, I was very nervous and would end up missing the hospital with the nurses at your every need!
