3rd Birthday Party!

Y'all. A couple weeks ago, we hosted William's 3rd Birthday Party for our friends and family! It was SO fun. You can read about his first birthday party here and his second party here. This year, since we are in our new house and have a yard, we decided to have it at home. The theme was pretty easy to pick. He is obsessed with all things Toy Story, so we had a winner there. We had it on a Sunday afternoon at 4 so that we could have a pizza party!

We were so excited that our friends from SC, Carolyn, Paul, and Grace came for the party!! William hadn't seen Grace in a couple months so he was super excited. Robbie's parents and Jeremiah had come up a couple days early, and William enjoyed Jeremiah SO much. He is so patient and plays with him and talks to him and W just thinks he is BIG stuff. Friday night, we had an impromptu girls night at Maggiano's. So good to get with these girls and celebrate big things going on in everybody's lives.

The inaugural jump on the trampoline!
He LOVED this card from Scott and Pam! The turtles popped out of the inside. His face was hilarious!

Decorating was so fun this year. I mainly used his toys to decorate. Who knew we had so many Buzz and Woody's!? A couple months ago I bought some TS decorations from her son's birthday, and we put some of those around the house too. Our cake was gorgeous and from the Cupcake Shoppe downtown. It was so delicious. Our original cake lady, who does an awesome job, broke her hand the Monday before the party!!! After a little stressing, the Cupcake Shoppe saved the day, and did an awesome job! We had cupcakes for the kids just because it's easier. We ordered pizzas from our new fave, Marco's, and everyone played outside. We had the new swing set (his gift from Grandma and Grandpa), and his trampoline (from Mama and Daddy). Jennifer from Martinez Photography took pictures again this year. Some are in this post, and you can definitely tell the difference between iPhone and DSLR picture haha! Everyone seemed to have a great time. It is probably the least I've ever been stressed at a party. It just went so great and there was plenty of room.

Welcome to the party!!

My SIL had the brilliant idea to put toys around the chandelier in the dining room!
Favors!

Ready to party!

Whew ignore those messy shelves!

About 30 minutes after the party started, we had a special guest arrive. Buzz Lightyear himself came!! William was literally in shock I think. He just stared for the longest time. Buzz was definitely the highlight of the party, and William is still asking when he can come back. Buzz came from a company called Party People NC, and they were great. He was there an hour, and sang and danced with the kids, took pictures with everyone, and then sang Happy Birthday to William. It was SO much fun!!

Hokey Pokey!

Alright, Buzz is gone, now we're ready to eat!

Saying goodbye before driving back to SC! :(
Obsessed with this Turtle gear from Ashley and Willie!
Thank you so much to all of our friends and family who came out to celebrate our sweet boy!!! I still can't believe that he is THREE!!!
