Conner's Birthday Weekend!

We had such a fun weekend! Mama, William, and I went to Elizabeth City to celebrate Conner turning 2!

 We got into town Friday around 4 and rushed to In-Stitches to get William some new goodies for the beach and ran by Jennette's for William to see a few friends! We then went to see William's Papa for a few minutes before heading to dinner with Robbie's parents at Big Daddy's. William did so well at dinner...he was a hungry little boy and had a full meal - apples & strawberries, and macaroni and cheese with vegetables. After that, we went to their house, where William had a bath and played. He had another Easter basket, filled with more toys, bowls, and sippy cups! I was nervous about how sleeping would go, since he was sleeping in the Pack n Play for the first time. It took him a while to fall asleep, but he finally did and slept until 4am. I may or may not have put him in the bed with me at this point to get him to sleep...but his hiccups lasted from 4-5am!!! He finally fell asleep from 5-7. So it was almost a success!

 Saturday morning, we just hung out at home until time for Conner's party. William played and read stories with Grandma, had breakfast, did more playing with Grandpa, and took a nap!

Conner's party was at the YMCA and was so much fun! All the kids played in the room with slides and stuff to climb on. William wanted to play, too! He sat on a table and watched and boy, did he stare! And just kept rocking forward like he was going to go run right in there! After they played, we had lunch, cake, and opened presents!! He had a very fun 2nd birthday party!!

After the party, Mama and I went to a few stores that we hadn't been to in forever, then headed to dinner at the new 3 Amigos! It was delicious as always. Barbara, Shelley, Brandon, and Conner joined us. The boys sat beside each other and it was hilarious. William STARED Conner down and tried to take his french fries! When I would tell William "no" to chewing his bib, Conner would shake his finger and say "no, no". I died!!! We grabbed yogurt at the "new" yogurt place and then headed back to Raleigh!

We had a great trip as always. It was a little rushed, but we still had fun!!
