Robbie had to work on the 4th of July :( BUT he got off in time to watch the fireworks, at least! Mama, William, and I mainly hung out around the house. We did run to the Chick Fil A near the house for lunch and William had his first kid's meal! He loved their grilled chicken nuggets and of course their applesauce. I have to get used to him eating "real" food, he.is.so.slow. Which I know is totally normal! Mama and I just sat there watching him chew haha! We traded in his Little Critter book for ice cream since he already had all of the ones they had, and he had a couple bites of that sweet treat. :)
For dinner, we went to Edwards Mill and Grill. Mama and I shared an appetizer and a salad, and William tried a little bit of everything. We ordered some fruit for him to try, but he wasn't really a fan of watermelon or cantaloupe. I was shocked!!! He did LOVE black beans and crackers. Too funny. By the time we left there, Robbie was on his way to mama's so we could watch the fireworks!
We kept William up a little past his bedtime so he could see them. I was a little nervous about how he'd do with the fireworks, since they can be loud. But, I think we were far enough away that they didn't bother him. He actually laughed everytime one would go off. I'm not sure why, haha! At the end, he started getting a little fussy so Robbie took him on home and Mama and I went to the grocery store. William had a fun first 4th of July!!! :)
