Friday: This weekend we got a taste of what it would be like to have a normal weekend AKA Robbie off Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. It was wonderful!! He opened Friday and I worked at home, and it must not have been too eventful because I don't have any pictures except proof that William actually ate a balanced dinner for a change. He gobbled up all of his turkey, peas, mac and cheese, and yogurt. The rest of us had pork chops instead of turkey and no yogurt. Robbie and I left around 7:15 to meet Ashley and Willie to see "Breaking Dawn: Part 2". It has been so long since I read the book, but it was a great movie and a great ending to the saga. We got home to a sleeping little boy, yay! We love date nights and really need to do them more often, and focus on ourselves for at least a couple hours. :)
Saturday: Saturday was a busy day!! We had our last of the November celebrations today; Davis's 1st birthday party!! We were invited to two baby showers and three birthday parties in November! Shew!! We put William down for his morning nap and he took his pants off by himself! I saw him shaking something on the monitor, and knew he had to have taken his pants off. We were laughing so hard. He finally slept for just a few minutes. Sometimes naps are hard to come by and I just pray this is not the end. We had fun at the party and Davis got some really neat toys and loved his cake!!! After we left, we headed over to Southpoint. We were going to have dinner at Firebirds, so we ran into Target to get a few things and then were going to walk the mall for a while. Well, the mall was incredibly packed so we put our name on the list at Firebirds and went to stand in line. We were told we only had a 20 minute wait, and it ended up being about 45 minutes. Thank goodness William was in the best mood, even without an afternoon nap! We finally got seated and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Firebirds is one of our favorites!!!

Sunday: Sunday morning we had Christmas minis with our fave photographer, Courtenay. They were at the Duke Gardens. I was so nervous it was going to rain and be freezing, but it actually wasn't too bad, and the sun even peeked out!! William wore a Santa longall that I bought last year. It was HUGE last year and fits pretty nicely this year. Yay! Jennifer and her family also had pics taken by Courtenay that morning, so after we all finished, we headed to Chapel Hill to have lunch at Mama Dip's. It was delicious as usual. After that, we went back over to Southpoint because Robbie wanted some more sweaters at Old Navy. I ran into Nordstrom Rack and was disappointed. Pier 1 did
not disappoint, however, and I scored placemats and chargers for our Christmas dinner. William fell asleep literally a mile from home, so we rushed him upstairs for a nap and he screamed and cried and just would not sleep. We wanted to be lazy, so we just brought him into our room and we watched a movie until dinnertime. I made lasagna in the crock pot...and started it too late. I was starving, so I figured it was done...so we ended up with a few tough noodles, haha! William didn't seem to mind. While we cleaned up, he enjoyed cleaning out the diaper bag and repeating "diada, diada" over and over when he saw his diapers. It was my bath night, so after a bath and a story, he fell right asleep since he had NO nap. Robbie and I enjoyed some TV while we unwound. He got prepared for another work week and I thanked God I don't have to go into the office at all this week because of the holiday; I am working at home.
