Weekend Rewind {Nov. 9-11}

This was just too funny from Thursday night. We went to Old Navy after dinner and this was the only stroller they had. William kept looking at us like, "Really?!"

Friday: Robbie was off, yay! We had a lazy morning and then headed out to lunch and a dr. appt for William. We went to Zaxby's for lunch. We never get to go there and it is close to the doctor, so it seems we always go there before or after a doctor's appt. They were out of highchairs AND booster seats so William had to sit on the booth, like he was 5 years old. I was so nervous he wouldn't eat. It was a little bit of a challenge since he could hardly reach his food, but he did pretty well!! We went to the doctor because he has been spitting up lately. He was a very spitty baby and had bathroom "issues" as a baby. I was just praying it wasn't a wheat or milk allergy. She still thinks it is related to his bathroom problems and that he gets so stopped up it makes him vomit. Bless his heart. So for now he is on MiraLax to help. Poor, sweet boy!! After the doctor, he came home and napped and then played. His new obsession is getting IN the train table. It scares me to death. I am so afraid he is going to fall OUT and break something. He chose to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates while sitting in the train table. We made chicken tacos for dinner. That is one of William's favorite dinners. Robbie has learned how to make mexican rice and it is sooo good! While he napped that afternoon, we changed William's car seat to forward facing. It was a scary decision for me, since I swore I would keep him turned until 2. But lately, he has been screaming whenever we go somewhere. I talked to his doctor about it and we have decided that he will be turned. After dinner, we took a quick ride to see if he liked it any better. Whenever you look back at him, his little feet are crossed and he is smiling. SO sweet!!!

Big boy at lunch!

Saturday: Saturday was a busy day. We got up, got ready, and out the door! Before Molly's party, I ran into the Patsy Aiken Outlet to get a brown turtleneck for W and Mama got him an outfit for Christmas. Who would have thought it was so hard to find a brown turtleneck?! I had looked EVERYwhere after passing it up the last time the outlet opened, so this time I knew I was going to have to get it. It's hard to pass up a deal like that - $36 turtleneck for $6!! We celebrated Molly's birthday after that. When we left Molly's, we ran to Shutterbugs to get William a Christmas shirt that I had been eyeing for months. I finally gave in. We had dinner reservations at The Pit for Tanya's birthday! It was delicious as usual and William was SO good, even after his exhausting day or birthday parties and no nap!! I took no pictures. :(

Sunday: Robbie worked and Mama and I went to lunch with W at the Mexican restaurant. We didn't have any plans and it was so nice! We ventured over to Kohl's and Mama bought a ton of stuff for William and got a great deal! He is going to be a happy boy on Christmas! I also got a few gifts - for William, my dad, my FIL. We are getting closer and closer to getting finished with our list. I have ONE more thing to get for William that I am so excited about! One of the gifts Mama got was a Thomas the train play mat. It came with a Thomas and was perfect for traveling. She went ahead and gave it to him so that we could have it over Thanksgiving with all of our traveling. I set it up on the floor and when William got up from his nap, as soon as he noticed it, he laughed and started crawling to it QUICK!! I think it will be a hit! That night, we had spaghetti for dinner. It is not a favorite dish of mine, but Robbie and William love it. William was a MESS. He went straight to the bathtub after. After his bath, William was playing and Riley had hid on the other side of the room. We heard William patting on her, and we looked and saw the picture below. Riley wasn't even concerned! Usually when she can't see who is patting her, she freaks out and gets up. She must really trust William, she doesn't even let US pat her like that from behind! haha!

  1. Avery has been on bathroom medicine forever and we were very thankful to switch to Miralax when she turned two. She usually has it every other day. Didn't know what to do with Sam when he came out pooping all the time!
