Last week, Laura and Caleb invited us over for dinner at their house. We were so excited! Even though we see them every week at church, this would be the first time all of the kids had played together, and I couldn't wait to see how William played! Not to mention, we love catching up with Laura and Caleb! It is so nice to meet such sweet friends at this age. Making friends is hard! Laura and Caleb are so easy to talk to and we have such a good time with them!! Robbie picked up some Edible Art cupcakes for dessert, and we headed over.
We had such a great time! William jumped right in with the girls. They had a musical parade, Grace Elizabeth had a party, William strolled babies, played with puzzles, etc. Dinner was delicious! Laura fixed the most delicious pork, sweet potatoes, and broccoli!! She is the first person to ever get me to like sweet potatoes! :) Even William ate a lot, which we all know is a shocker! After dinner, they all played some more, and William stopped by Lucy and bent down and gave her a kiss on her forehead. Melt.my.heart. Is he working on wanting a sibling?! Oh goodness.
We all had delicious cupcakes and then the girls went to bed. The four of us talked and talked, and William just got into everything! He was obsessed with opening their dollhouse, trying to find ways up the steps, and crying and pointing upstairs, wanting the girls to get up haha! We stayed TOO late (sorry Laura!!!) and got home around 10:30. William was such a trooper and went right to bed after his long day. Thank you again to Laura and Caleb for having us over! We had a great time!!
aww we LOVED having you 3 over! It was so much fun and the girl's still save William's seat at the table for him haha!
