Little Red Wagon...

Growing up, I LOVED my red Radio Flyer wagon. I pulled it everywhere and pulled my dolls around with me. Mine was wooden and had removable sides, so I would pull off the sides, put them back, and do it all over again. So much fun. Needless to say, I wanted William to have one. Now they make plastic ones with little seats. I could just imagine all the fun he will have with this wagon. Unfortunately, wagons were not in the budget this month, since we are going to the beach next week! (!!!!!!!!!) So, we were planning on getting him the wagon for his birthday.

Sunday morning, we got ready and headed to the Farmer's Market for lunch with Stephanie, her dad, and Mama. They have the BEST BBQ chicken. OMG. It is my favorite!!!! While we were sitting there talking, somehow the red wagon came up and Stephanie said that she wanted to get it for William - today!!! We were so excited!! Such a generous gift for our sweet boy! Stephanie is always SO good to us!!

SO precious

New fave pic of us!
So, we trekked to Target for the wagon. They had ONE on the shelf! We went back to Mama's and Robbie put it together so we could take William for a little ride. I was impressed that it even has a seatbelt! On the way out of Target, we walked by the toy section and saw the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn dancing puppy. William literally crawled to the edge of the cart and was reaching for the puppy. It was hysterical! He usually really doesn't react to toys too much in the store. Of course I was dying to get him the puppy. Luckily, Hannah and Nana came through later that afternoon. ;)

So busy

Nana bought some new toys just for her house, so William stayed busy!

Checking on the progress

Good job, Daddy!
William LOVES the wagon!!! We buckled him in and took him outside for a quick spin. He was grabbing the sides and looking over and then would sit back up and laugh! I just see him having so many fun memories with the wagon, starting with next week at the beach!
All ready for a ride!!

Thank you so much, Stephanie, for always thinking of us and especially our sweet little William. We love being with y'all!!

  1. How fun! You must have a close relationship with your mom like I do. Beneficial for us as well as our children! Can't wait to hear about the beach and daydream about our turn.
