Our final day at Disney was reserved for Animal Kingdom. Everyone told us it could be done in half of a day, so that was our plan. We had another late start, and didn't even end up getting there until almost 11, and then had to leave at 4:30 to catch a bus to another resort to have dinner. So, we definitely didn't get everything covered, but we did our best! I really wish we could have seen the Finding Nemo show and the Bug's Life show.

Tree of Life! |
We had a quick service lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. Robbie and I shared ribs and chicken, and Mama and Hannah had a turkey sandwich. They had key lime pudding for dessert, yum! Robbie and I got a Fastpass for Everest, a thrilling rollercoaster! Hannah rode with us too. It definitely had some surprises and kept us screaming. I bought the picture from it because our faces are SO funny!
We saw The Lion King show, which was awesome! Lots of color and music, and everyone enjoyed it. William was entranced.
We also got a Fastpass for the Safari ride. We had a great time on that! We saw a ton of animals, but were disappointed that the lions and monkeys were not in the mood to come out!

This giraffe was SO close to our vehicle! |
After all of that, we only had about 30 minutes before we had to catch the bus! (I'm telling you, time FLIES!!!) We walked by Dino Land to see what William could do. We found a dinosaur ride that he could ride. There was no line, so we hopped right on! William rode beside Hannah this time. He thought he was big stuff, not having to be in a lap!
We caught the bus over to the Wilderness Lodge resort for dinner at the Whispering Canyon. What a beautiful resort!!! We had several people recommend this restaurant to us, and it did not disappoint. It had a fun, interactive atmosphere. Your waiter hollers out, and if you need ketchup, your whole table yells, "We need ketchup!!!" And about 20 bottles appear from another table. Then you have to take the bottles to the next table, and so on. Too funny!! Another trick they play is to bring you a huge soda when you drink a lot really fast. Robbie wanted 2 refills really quickly, and before we knew it, he had a HUGE glass in front of him!! The food is all you can eat, and delicious! Ribs, tenderloin, baked chicken, BBQ, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread, baked beans. Dessert was mocha cake, and white chocolate cheesecake (DElicious!!)

We caught a boat over to the Magic Kingdom, to catch a bus back to our resort. Riding on the boat was fun!! Poor William fell asleep again on the bus, but caught a second wind once we were back in our room. This was our earliest night back in the room; we got there around 8:30. We were all so exhausted we didn't think we could MOVE, but William would occasionally peep out, "pool, pool" He had become obsessed from when Hannah took him to see it one day while he was having a fit at breakfast.

Lining up his new cars! |
So, at 9:42 pm, we headed to the pool!! This would be a total no-no at home! He LOVED the pool!! He stepped right in with no fear, and did NOT want to be held. We have GOT to get a puddle jumper, haha! We played for a long time. I couldn't believe that the pool wasn't crowded. After a bath, he was OUT!
Robbie and I wanted to have a little date night aka going to the gift shop to stock up on last minute souvenirs. We walked around the resort a bit, and then shopped for a while and sat outside and talked. We got back to the room around midnight and packed up, since we were leaving in the morning. :(
