Disney Day Three: Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom was my favorite!! It really is Magical!! Robbie set his alarm for 6:55, since he knew we would have a long day. I was just too exhausted to get up that early, haha! He went ahead and got ready and then got us up. We had breakfast in the hotel again.

Playing with his balloon!
At the door again, waiting!
On the bus with Nana!

As soon as we got there, we took a few pictures in front, and then headed down Main Street, USA. We found another awesome gift shop, and got a few things. The cool thing is, they can deliver your goodies from the park to your resort. That way you don't have to lug it around all day! About the time we came out of there, a parade was starting! We stopped and watched that. I just love seeing the characters!!

This guy was making a frowny face at William, since that is what William was doing, haha!

The castle is just SO magical to me!!!
We headed over to the new Fantasyland and rode the Dumbo ride. William loved it!!

We ducked into yet another gift shop in Fantasyland. This one was awesome! It had the best looking treats, y'all. I used one of my snacks and got a cake pop. SO good!!! We got William a pair of ears here!! Thanks to Stephanie for the "ear money"!! :)

He loves them!
We had lunch reservations at 2, so we just walked around for a while. I really didn't do that much research on the parks, and we did miss a lot. We DID ride Space Mountain though haha. Get your neck muscles ready. That thing jerked us around so hard haha. While walking to the restaurant, we saw a little play in front of the castle.

Mary Poppins!

We had lunch at Tony's Town Square. It was amazing! It was a table service meal. Lara Lee gave us a tip - to make late reservations there, and then we could watch the 3:00 parade come through without having to fight crowds to see. I just can't believe how fast time goes at Disney!! When you first get to the park, you think you have loads of time, and before you know it, it's 8:00!! Tony's was so awesome and had us sitting inside, but facing the street so we could see the parade. I had a delicious shrimp scampi. It was out of this world. Dessert was a key lime cheesecake, complete with a tracing of Lady and the Tramp!! William was totally into the parade. He didn't say a word!!

Ready for lunch!

Loves his ice cream!

After lunch, William passed OUT!! This was the beginning of his three hour stroller nap! I don't think he has taken one of those since he was like 4 weeks old! Mama was happy to sit and people watch while Hannah, Robbie, and I rode the Haunted Mansion ride, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. They were all so awesome, but we could skip the Haunted Mansion next time, haha. Just not enough excitement for us.

He was gone!!
Aladdin and Jasmine!
Waiting for Splash Mountain!
When William woke up, he had a little goody in his stroller. We found him a Mickey dressed like Woody from Toy Story!! He LOVES him. A sweet lady in a shop gave him a "1st Visit" button for the stroller. After that, we rode "It's a Small World". William just loved it!!! He couldn't stop pointing. There were so many things we missed!! We will definitely spend two days in MK next time!

He loved the carousel!
Robbie caught Tigger and Pooh while we used the bathroom!
Riding to dinner with Nana

We had a quick service dinner at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. They had burgers, chicken, bbq, etc. After our late dinner, we headed to get a spot for the Electrical Parade. There was NO more room, except for Mama. Right before it started, some people left and we got a front row seat. I think this was William's favorite part!! He would lean into the street, looking to see what was coming next and just shout and clap!! I was afraid a couple times we were going to be running down the street to get him!

After the electrical parade, we headed over to the castle to watch "Wishes". It was an awesome show with lots of lights and images projected onto the castle from movies. Tinkerbell shot down a wire from the top of the castle!! The fireworks were awesome!!! We were exhausted by the time we left!! We didn't get back to the resort until around midnight. Poor William passed out on the bus with me. He didn't even wake up as I changed him into his pajamas and put him in his pack and play. So awesome!!!

  1. So obviously I'm just catching up on all your Disney posts! Like how I'm commenting on every single one?

Magic Kingdom really is the best! We tried to do it in one day when we went last year and ended up leaving Animal Kingdom early to go back to Magic Kingdom. We're definitely allotting 2 days when we go in November!
