Last Tuesday, my dad and Annette came up for dinner and to celebrate Christmas. My dad spent all day with Robbie, William, and I. We went to lunch, and shopped around for some last minute things we needed. We went out to Hannah's school so that Daddy could see her classroom, and then we met Annette at Firebirds and had dinner.
After dinner, we came back to our house to open presents. William has been so much fun this year with presents. He digs right in and gets sooo excited when he sees what's inside. He got the nicest handmade train that my dad found at a shop in the mountains, a monogrammed polo that will be a favorite this summer, and a ton of Jake toys. He is obsessed. He loves Bucky, Jake's ship, and his stuffed Jake and sword. They both got him some Jake Lego Duplos. We keep those up, so we hear all the time, "Play Jake Legos?" haha!
Our family Christmas present this year, from all of our parents, is a trip to Disney World in February! We are SO excited, and just so thankful and blessed that our parents agreed to fund it! That being said, Robbie and I still got some surprises - nice North Face gloves for him, Pioneer Woman's new cookbook for me, and a few others. Annette knows me well - she went to In Stitches and got us the cutest yard sign and a nice clock from the mountains. The funniest gift was from Annette - a roll of monogrammed toilet paper, ha!! I loved it! It is proudly displayed in our guest bath.
We're so thankful we got a chance to get together and celebrate!
