State Fair 2013!

Robbie had Friday off, and we decided on a whim to go to the State Fair that night, in case we didn't have another chance. We had a ball! It was so fun this year with William. He was very into the animals, playing, eating, etc. He loved all of the lights from the rides. We stayed for about three hours and packed a lot in! We can't wait for next year!!!

We walked around all of the booths inside the buildings, and of course, I got a Miss Debbie's apple. They are the best!! William had so much fun at "The Field of Dreams". He got his own basket, and had to fill it with fruits and veggies, and then 'sold' them to the grocery store at the end and then traded his money for a little goodie bag. He thought he was big stuff!!

We found a game that William could play by himself! He went fishing for sharks, and he won a little Nemo fish! He LOVES it and carries it everywhere.

On our way out, we reminisced about Robbie proposing to me in the very spot below. We went to the Kellie Pickler concert with Ashley, Willie, and Amy. After the concert, while watching the fireworks, Robbie got down on one knee and proposed - right there in front of ALL of those people!! It was so scary at the time, since everyone was stopping and staring, but such a special memory! We have to go to the fair every year - if for no other reason than to visit that spot and reflect on the years since!!
