State Fair Round 2!!

Last night, we braved the state fair again! Robbie's company gave us free tickets, so we figured we might as well use them. Laura invited us to go back with them also, so it worked out perfectly! William was all too happy to go back again. All we heard was "animalssss, animalsss". They are obviously HIS favorite part!

Love this! Running to me as I get home from work!
As soon as I got home from work, we headed off!! Last night was considerably colder than our visit last week, so we had to layer! We had dinner at the Shriner's Club BBQ tent. It was so awesome, and not crowded, which is always nice. We had to tell William that the animals were eating their dinner, and we couldn't go see them yet. He would not stop asking for them and kept repeating "all done!" even though he hadn't eaten a bite. Our little story worked though! ;) The funniest part was when he yelled out "MIAH!!!" and pointed to a little boy who DID look a lot like his cousin Jeremiah. Robbie and I were so tickled!!

Pulling up to the fair!
Dinner at the fair!

Ready to see the animals!
After dinner, we went to see the highly anticipated animals! He loved it!! On the way there, we stopped at the UNC TV tent, since they had an addition of Elmo and Cookie Monster since we had been there. William was ecstatic! We also saw Sid the Science Kid (another fave), and another character we didn't recognize who was actually in costume walking around. Does anyone recognize her?? The good thing was, William was not afraid, and ran right up to her to give her a high five and a kiss!! Maybe that next trip to Disney won't be a waste, ha!

Elmo!! Cookie!!
Sid!
Not sure... ;)
We met up with the Robinsons after that! William was SO happy to see them! He kept repeating "shuchhy" (Lucy) and "aaanooor" (Eleanor) haha! He ran and jumped with them and had a ball while we enjoyed our roasted corn. The picture below cracks me up. Eleanor was standing beside William so sweetly, but right as I got my camera out, she dashed away, in true Eleanor fashion! ;) Laura had their double stroller, so we had the great idea for Eleanor to get in our stroller, and Lucy and William shared the double. He was in love! He shrieked in excitement the entire time. Until he started poking Lucy in the head. Then, we remedied that situation. Shew. Little mess. We had so much fun walking around and talking!! Isn't the fair always more fun with friends?! Thanks, Robinsons, for a fun night!!!
Sweet!
Love this that Laura took!

Stroller buddies!
Go Lucy! Giving W a taste of his own medicine!
LOL!
So neat! A replica of the Dorton Arena made out of cans and water bottles!
We were so jealous of his set up! All warm and being pushed around!
