He was less than impressed that first night, and not much of it went into his tummy. He would throw his hands in his mouth as soon as the food went in, and it went everywhere. He also would open his mouth wide for the spoon, and then not shut it! So again, everywhere.
The next night and ever since, he has been a pro!!! When we set him in the bouncer and he sees the bowl, he gets really excited and kicks his feet and says "mmmmmm". He eats the whole bowl!! And I'm not sure if it is a coincidence, but ever since he has been eating the cereal, he has slept through the night without needing his paci! Whew! Let's hope that did the trick!
I put less formula in it this night, so he really tasted the cereal! So funny! |
We will be starting fruits and veggies soon! So any advice on how to integrate them, etc would be helpful! This is the fun part but difficult to know what is "right"!
we started with squash. that way its not as sweet as fruit but its still a lot better than green beans or peas. any orange veggies (sweet potatoes, carrots) seem to work well for first timers =) good luck!
