Leaving Disney, Road Trip Continued, and Hunter Graduates!

Friday morning, we left Disney around 10:30. We were so sad to go! :( We had a long trip ahead of us; we were heading to Asheville to see our cousin Hunter graduate from high school!!

About two hours down the road, Robbie stopped and got an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. It was the biggest cone I have ever seen!! He had it gone in about 5 minutes. Nana bought William a Mickey cup from the gas station, and he was obsessed with checking it out.

It was a longggg drive, and we finally made it to Asheville around 11pm. We headed straight to our hotel, and passed OUT!! The next morning we were up bright and early to head to Hunter's graduation. We decided to get a babysitter for William, since the graduation was going to be two hours long. It was his first time with a babysitter that wasn't family. We had the sweetest young girl that went to Amy's church watch him. He didn't even notice that we left! He did so great she said. He slept most of the time! I was so thankful that we could enjoy the ceremony, and to know that he was in such good hands!!

Hunter graduated from a private Christian academy in Asheville. There were only 55 seniors in his class, so everything was very personal. As they called each graduate's name, they said a little blurb about them; what they liked, what they contributed to the school, etc. I was so happy we were able to go and be there to celebrate with Hunter. He has always been like a brother to Hannah and I. We just love him so. If I can raise William to be just like him, I would be tickled! He is very strong in his faith, smart, caring, always knows right from wrong, and just a good person that everyone loves to be around. We are so proud of him and he starts a new adventure in August at UNC Wilmington!!!

After graduation, we picked William up from the sitter and went to the luncheon in the neighborhood clubhouse. Everything was so delicious! William loved running around. Mama made the mistake of taking him to see the pool. She said he almost drug her in the water!! I think he is definitely going to be a water baby. He came back in repeating, "Pool, pool!!"

That afternoon, Amy and Tim threw a party for Hunter at their house. It was so great!! They had a wonderful spread catered - BBQ, chicken, mac and cheese, beans, appetizers, fruit, etc. It was amazing! The cake was so beautiful. It had their mascot, the lion, on top. We had a great time at the party. William loved the swing set. One time, we were all eating and looking around for him. He was at the top of the swing set, clapping for himself!! He is a daredevil!! We left for Raleigh around 7 and made it home about 11. We were beat!!
